Spring Has Sprung

God made worms and potato bugs for little boys. Over the last few weeks we have really annoyed a few of these creatures for Caden and Logan's entertainment. Logan is a little nicer to them than Caden is, but he means well. Logan took a hint from a strange Scooby Doo movie and made his worms a fun amusement park/Day Spa in the Garden. Caden just carried his around in his hot little hands or put them in his pocket. Gross!!

One day, after I found a few worms for Caden, he rolled them into a little dead worm ball and asked me to play catch. I sent him to his father to play dead worm ball catch and forgot about the worms. A few minutes later, Caden returned to me, sat on my lap and hugged me. He also rubbed his hand on my neck. I asked him why he was rubbing my neck. His reply, "I'm just rolling my worm ball on your neck." Gag!!

Anyway...we planted a garden of tomatoes, lettuce, squash and peas. I can't wait for the tomatoes.

Spring Break

We went to Disneyland with 53,000 of our closest friends. It was a madhouse. Logan had fun on Space Mountain. Caden really like Autopia. Shockingly, Caden was a little afraid on Buzz Lightyear. It was a good learing experience. We will only go to Disneyland in the off season.

The Aquarium

We love to go to the Aquarium. Their new exhibit is pretty cool.

Carlos Dunford Day at Costco

What??? You may be saying why did Costco have Carlos Dunford Day? Well, Carlos loved to go to Costco and buy things in large quantities and wander the store. This "hobby" was mentioned in his obituary and on his funeral program. Someone sent this to the CEO of Costco, Jim Senegal, who sent Judy a letter offering to have lunch for family and friends. Costco was great. There was pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, and cake. Logan drew a picture of Carlos on the paper covered table before we left. It read, "Thank you Cosco". Carlos would have been happy and possibly a little embarassed that we were wise to his strange hobby.
